Plants have thoughts? Or only feelings?

A stunning article appeared in the October/November 2007 issue of National Wildlife, the journal of the National Wildlife Federation. Titled, “Plant Siblings Not Rivals,” it describes the results of experiments carried out by Canadian researcher Susan Dudley into differing growth patterns between genetically related and unrelated plants when growing in close proximity.

Huh? Yeah. They know. Weird, but incredibly cool and thought-changing.
